Hydrometrics' expertise in the earth sciences is applied to numerous projects. Specifically, we design and implement surface water, groundwater, and soil monitoring programs; evaluate aquifer characteristics; model surface and subsurface flow systems; identify and develop water supplies and other natural resources; and design remediation strategies. These services are completed in support of remedial investigations, water resource development, environmental analysis, facilities development, and permitting.

CHEMISTRY AND TOXICOLOGY

Hydrometrics' professional chemists use advanced field and laboratory techniques for analyzing complex environmental problems. These results are then evaluated to characterize surface water, groundwater, soil, geochemical fate and transport, and to assess risks to human health and the environment. The evaluation includes geochemical models, and parametric, non-parametric and geostatistical techniques. Findings from these investigations are clearly presented at agency meetings and in technical documents in support of achieving regulatory compliance and client goals. In addition to environmental evaluations, Hydrometrics' chemists and toxicologists prepare and implement Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), Quality Assurance/Quality Control Project Plans (QAPPs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).
